Discovering the Moroccan Sahara
Whether alone, as a couple, with family, or with friends,
we plan your trip together
“This bivouac is suitable for those seeking Moroccan hospitality,
l'authenticité et l'essentiel.”

The Bivouac is intentionally kept small in order to preserve the quality of relationships and intimacy.

Nés dans le désert, deux frères Mohamed et Ali gèrent ce bivouac et vous font découvrir leur univers
1 night, 2 nights, 3 nights... Time to disconnect and discover the magic of the desert.

Camel treks are by reservation only and subject to camel driver availability. 200 dhs/hour per person

Depending on the temperature, take a walk in the desert. You can witness the sunrise and sunset.

Take advantage of the two sandboards available at the camp and glide down the dunes.

For stays longer than four nights, a trek can be arranged. Accompanied by your hosts, you leave the campsite with camels carrying the necessary equipment for meals and sleeping. An unforgettable experience of nomadic life.

Guided by your hosts, set off to discover the secrets of the desert and visit different sites

4 tents covered with several layers of fabric with access to the shared sanitary block at the bivouac. Equipped as needed, with single or double beds for up to 4 occupants.

3 small tent-like houses with earthen walls that house comfortable single and double beds, one of which has a private bathroom and toilet (limited to 3 people, double bed + single bed)

The bivouac has a shared sanitary block with showers, sinks and toilets, similar to what we find in campsites.
Transported by pickup truck, it is transferred to a tank at the top of the sanitary block
The shower water is heated using dead wood harvested from the desert.
Electricity is supplied by solar panels.
Wifi access at the camp is sometimes unreliable, depending on the sun and wind.
Limited on the campsite but accessible from the dune.
The meals were unanimously a hit.

A traditional breakfast is served between 7am and 10am. It is hearty and included in the price of the overnight stay.

Le repas du soir est un menu unique entrée/plat/dessert pour la somme de 130dhs,/pers.

If you would like a midday meal, you will need to request it.
You can get there by following the tracks (4x4 only, no paved roads) using a GPS:
29° 51' 2.1204''N
6° 12' 44.7804'' W
If you arrive at Zagora or Ouarzazate airport, a driver is available (supplement applies and must be arranged with Mohamed).
Head to Mhamid el Ghizlane where the paved road ends: a secure, gated parking lot allows you to leave your vehicle safely for 20 dirhams per day. Mohamed will then take you in a 4x4 to enter the desert (maximum 4 passengers - 90 euros).
Reach Mhamid village by public transport, bus (website) and/or grand taxi. Inform Mohamed, who will then arrange your transfer by 4x4 (€90).
