Water at the campsite

There is no well at the campsite. A pick-up truck has to deliver water very regularly for the kitchen and sanitary facilities. This means keeping an eye on water levels and planning ahead by calling the person who supplies the campsite, so as not to run out of this precious and essential WATER. From the pick-up’s tank, the water is transferred into an initial tank on the ground. Then, for the sanitary facilities, it is pumped by a motor pump into another tank situated higher up. We also need to fill the numerous jerrycans for various tasks in the kitchen.

The desert teaches us just how precious water is and that we must use it sparingly.
